Can you add things from other Evil Dead Movies or the TV show?
We only have the rights to Evil Dead 2, so we can’t use things from other movies, the TV show, etc. We also only have the likeness rights for Bruce Campbell (Groovy Bruce himself signs off on everything). But expansions to the game will be based off of Space Goat’s Evil Dead 2 comics, and in case you haven’t read them, there’s a lot of cool stuff we can use for the board game. (You can get them from http://merchgoat.com/product-category/shop-by-theme/evil-dead-2/ or digitally from https://www.comixology.com/Space-Goat-Productions/comics-publisher/3357-0 )

Why is it called the Starter Edition?
We hope to add expansion packs in later stretch goals (based off of our Evil Dead 2 comics) which is why the main game is called the starter edition. But the game is a 100% complete, very fun experience without any expansion packs.

Are you sure you'll be shipping in November?
No. It was only an estimate given to us by the manufacturer at the time the campaign launched. Due to unforeseen approval delays with our licensor, we missed some key pre-production stages with the manufacturer. They have worked with us closely since these developments, and they feel a Spring 2017 release to backers is a reasonable expectation. We hope to have that narrowed down to an exact month before the campaign ends.

Does the Deluxe game come with normal Ash and Combat Ash?
Yes! It’s a double shot of Ash!
Last updated: July 10, 2016 13:27
What size are the figures and what will they be made of?
They will be approx. 28mm and will be made of plastic. We settled on 28mm so they’d conform to standard figure sizes used by Pathfinder and D&D

Can I get unpainted figures in the deluxe edition?
Yes! When you fill out your survey with Backerkit after the campaign ends, you will get a choice of painted or unpainted. We will also be adding unpainted figures as an add-on.
Last updated: July 10, 2016 13:27
How do I add an add-on?
To add add-ons, please go to your pledge page and add the total dollar amount of all the add-ons that you want to your pledge. At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey. You select what you want at that time! Please review update 23 or 38 for more details and a walk-through graphic.

Can I add add-ons after the campaign ends?
Yes, but we advise you to pledge for your add-ons now to help the campaign reach more stretch goals and so we have a better accounting of total funding levels.

What do the painted minis look like? “Space Goat is working on getting painted versions of the minis before the survey closes Oct 31st. When we have pictures, they will be in a Kickstarter update. Until then, this update has samples of painted figures that Panda sent us as a sample of their work and give a general sample of their quality: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/evildead2/evil-dead-2-the-official-board-game/posts/1642857”
Why can’t retailers pick from the other add-ons?
In order to be able calculate shipping at time of fulfillment, we were only able to offer retailer bundles to retailers.
How come I can’t get comics through the retailer pledge?
We can’t offer comics to retailers through the Kickstarter, but we’re happy to get Evil Dead 2 comics in your store outside of the Kickstarter! Just email [email protected]

Why is EU Shipping more expensive than it was listed on the campaign?
Stretch goals and added figures increased the weight of the box over 2kg, which bumped the game into a higher shipping price bracket. So we had to increase our estimated shipping price by around $5 USD, but we did everything we could to keep prices from going over that much for the core game.

Why do I have to pay extra for all painted figures?
When we launched the campaign, we budgeted for painted core figures, and a number of stretch goal figures. But we unlocked way more stretch goal figures than we budgeted paint for. We wanted to be able to offer all painted figures to backers who wanted them, but we didn’t want to raise the price for people who didn’t. Charging an add-on fee of $5 to paint 31 figures was our compromise.
Is there a painted version of the Mirror Ash Expansion available?
No, we are not able to offer a painted version of the Mirror Ash figure.

Last Updated At: 09/09/16What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
